“The ocean takes care of each wave 'til it gets to shore.” - Rumi
At a death café, people gather to discuss death. The intention is to increase awareness of death with the notion of helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda or theme. Interesting discussions will be had along with new philosophies for embracing life. Hosted by Mary Ann Boe & Holly Anthony.
Death Cafes are offered:
- on a not-for-profit basis
- in an accessible, respectful and confidential space
- with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action
- as a discussion group, not a grief or counseling session
Coffee, tea and water will be available. A free-will donation is appreciated for the space.
