Death Cafe - January

“The ocean takes care of each wave 'til it gets to shore.”   - Rumi

At a death café, people gather to discuss death. The intention is to increase awareness of death with the notion of helping people make the most of their (finite) lives. A Death Café is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda or theme. Interesting discussions will be had along with new philosophies for embracing life.
Hosted by Mary Ann Boe

Death Cafes are offered:

  • on a not-for-profit basis
  • in an accessible, respectful and confidential space
  • with no intention of leading people to any conclusion, product or course of action
  • as a discussion group, not a grief or counseling session

Coffee, tea and water will be available. A free-will donation is appreciated for the space.
